Since 1950, we have measured tens of thousands of people for all military services, and we have supplied body size, reach and mobility data to all of the nation’s military services, and to a number of government agencies as well. Anthrotech has been involved in the design and implementation of nearly every major body size survey of U.S. military personnel conducted in the past 65+ years. In addition, we have completed large-scope projects and small-scope work for The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and many other government agencies.
Whether it is providing measurements for new military clothing, or human body data for military aircraft or military/police body armor design, we have the knowledge and long-standing expertise to assist government agencies that need specific insight into human body variation.
Our services that can benefit government agencies include:
- Body size surveys
- Database analysis
- 3D modeling, scanning and digitizing
- Fit testing
- Wear testing
