Cruz Carrillo

Cruz is a 2021 graduate from Northern Kentucky University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with focus in Pre-Law. After completing his studies, Cruz sought out experience in the non-profit sector. His objective has been to support projects and opportunities that can utilize his strong analytical and research capabilities.  He quickly made his mark working at the Agraria Center for Regenerative Practice, a non-profit based in Yellow Springs, Ohio.  Starting as a volunteer, he was promoted into a management position within a year. His ability to analyze business processes, identify efficiencies, and provide compelling reasons to change, helped him bring greater value to the services and solutions offered by Agraria.

As part of the role, he planned, developed, and taught seminars to adult learners. The focus of the seminars was environmental sustainability and gardening. During his time at Agraria, he also developed and contributed to the oversight of the financial systems and procedures. His educational background together with his exceptional analytical skill, enabled him to take on tasks and projects generally reserved for individuals with far more experience.

Cruz joined Anthrotech as a contractor in the beginning of August as a Research Associate. On joining, he was immediately assigned to help plan, prepare, and execute a project of significant importance to one of the world’s biggest corporations. The project immediately benefitted from Cruz’s processes orientation and attention to detail. His ability to cut through the noise created by complex projects has been a key driver of his success.
