Demetri Economos, Ph.D.

Demetri is a Research Associate supporting clients across a variety of anthropometric studies.  He is a Virginia native and attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia receiving a B.S. degree in Biology, then continued his education at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio receiving a M.Ed. in Health Education.   Demetri was accepted for doctorate studies at the Université de Sherbrooke - Faculté de Médecine in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada and awarded a Ph.D. in Physiology.  Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the United States Navy.

Demetri has served in various technical, managerial, and leadership capacities with increased responsibilities throughout his military service and retired at the rank of Commander. He is credentialed, and has substantive experience, in the following areas: Aerospace Physiology, Infantry Physiology, Diving Physiology, Human Systems Integration, National Security Affairs, and is a certified Defense Acquisition Professional.

In civilian practice, he has served as Flight Test Manager to Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
