Melania is a Research Associate supporting clients across a variety of anthropometric studies. She is an Ohio native and attended Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio receiving a B.S. degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Education. She continued her education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia receiving an M.S. in Education specializing in Early Childhood Development.
Over her career, she provided education and training to students across the entire spectrum of education from pre-school development to the undergraduate level of instruction. Expanding upon her experience and credentials, she provided guidance to nascent private education organizations helping them establish state and local accreditation in pursuit of their licensure for business and facility operations. Her efforts allowed these organizations to pursue national accreditation via the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Melania also served as a Research Assistant to military projects gathering needed background information for Primary Investigators as they developed research proposals, protocols, and executed research covering critical issues of concern for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Notable projects include: Hand-Arm Vibration Study, USMC Marksmanship Target development, Hearing Loss Mitigation Strategies, Next Generation Backpack field testing, and codification of Combat Load Standards for the Marine Corps.
